Waimea Canyon Reservation
Currently, reservations are not required to visit the Waimea Canyon in Kauai, Hawaii. You can just drive up to Waimea Canyon State Park, buy tickets at the onsite machine, and visit the canyon.
You do require a permit for camping overnight in adjoining Koke’e State Park, and permits for minimally-developed tent campsites can be obtained here, up to 90 days in advance.

No, at this time, reservations are not required to visit Waimea Canyon in Kauai, Hawaii. Waimea Canyon State Park is one of the Hawaii state parks that is not currently managed with a reservation system.
