How to Buy Waimea Canyon Tickets

Waimea Canyon State Park tickets can be purchased at the self-serve ticket machines, located at each paved parking lot in the park (as well as in Koke’e State Park).

The ticket kiosks only accept credit cards.

You only need to pay the entry and parking fee once, for all the lookouts in Waimea Canyon State Park and adjoining Koke’e State Park.

Display the ticket on your dashboard once you have it, so it is visible to park staff.

Waimea Canyon State Park Entrance Fees

Entry and parking are free for Hawaii residents with a Hawaii driver’s license or Hawaii ID.

Non-residents pay an entry fee of $5.00 per person. Kids 3 and under are free.

Non-residents driving into the park in a rental car also pay a parking fee of $10.00 per standard vehicle.

Are advance purchases of Waimea Canyon State Park tickets necessary?

No, advance reservations or advance purchases of tickets for Waimea Canyon State Park are not necessary. Waimea Canyon State Park tickets cannot currently be purchased online.
